French soprano Perrine Madoeuf made a stunning debut at the Opéra Comique in Paris in 2021 jumping in as Juliette in a new production of Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette.

She subsequently performed as Adèle in Le Comte Ory at Metz Opera, again Juliette and Marguerite in Faust at the Estonian State Opera and Liliane de Pougy in Styrne’s Gypsy at the Théâtre de l’Odéon in Marseille.

Other recent engagements include Micaela for her debut at the Royal Danish Opera, Juliette and Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Estonian National Opera, Donna Anna at the Tartu Opera, Eurydice in Offenbach’s Orphée aux Enfers at the Opera in Nice, Adina/ in Rennes and Angers-Nantes, Countess Adèle in Rossini’s Le Comte Ory again in Rennes and subsequently in Rouen.

Her upcoming projects include Micaela in Nice, Musetta in Metz and in Saint-Etienne, Hanna  in The merry widow in Marseille and Juliette in Roméo et Juliette at the Estonian State Opera and the Bern Theatre.

Born in Lyon, Perrine Madoeuf started her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon before completing her studies as a member of the De Vlaamse Opera Studio in Antwerp.

In the past years she has performed with companies such as Opéra de Montpellier, Opéra de Nice, Opéra de Rouen, the Opéra de Rennes, the Théâtre de l’Odéon in Marseille, the theatre in Biel-Solothurn (Switzerland), the Latvian National Theatre in Riga, the Estonian National Opera in Tallinn, the National Theatre of Albania in Tirana and at the Algiers Opera House.

Her repertoire includes roles such as Susanna and Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Donna Elvira and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Violetta (La Traviata), Gilda (Rigoletto), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Countess Adèle (Le Comte Ory), Marie (La fille du régiment), Marguerite (Faust), Juliette (Roméo et Juliette), Manon (Massenet), Micaëla (Carmen), Antonia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Zénobie (Ciboulette), Blanche de la Force (Dialogues des Carmélites).
