The Italian soprano Mariagrazia De Luca studied literature and classical philology before studying singing at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Martucci in Salerno. After graduating with honors in 2012, she earned numerous awards at prestigious singing competitions. She has since been active as a freelance singer performing at Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Argentina in Rome, Teatro Vittorio Emmanuele in Messina, the Festival delle Serre, among others. In the spring of 2019, she made her German debut in the title role of Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut” at the Landestheater Flensburg.

With an attractive stage appearance and her highly passionate role interpretations Mariagrazia De Luca is a sought-after interpreter of the great Verdi and Puccini roles. Her roles include Abigaille in Nabucco, Odabella in Attila, Aida, Manon Lescaut and Tosca.
