Leonora Gennusa graduated from the Conservatory L. Cherubini in Florence in 2016, going on to refine her vocal and artistic skills with Luciana Serra, Liliana Poli, Mirella Freni, Susanna Rigacci and Manuela Meneghello.

With a repertoire ranging from baroque to the contemporary she recently performed as a soloist with the Accademia Musical Valtiberina in Tuscany as well as in various Florentine academic concerts with the Conservatorio Cherubini in Florence, singing, among others, Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater”.

She has performed at the Teatro di La Spezia Opera Festival, Anfiteatro di San Gimignano and Abbazia di San Galgano in Orff’s “Carmina Burana” and the priestess in Verdi’s “Aida”. She appeard with the National Symphonic Orchestra of RAI as well as on a tour in the Arena di Verona with Ennio Morricone. At the Richelieu Theater of the Sorbonne in Paris she appeared in a selection of Pergolesi’s “Lo Frate nnamorato” in the role of Vannella. In 2015 she sung in J. Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” at the Teatro Comunale di Firenze. In 2017 she performed at the Mozarteum in Salzburg.

Leonora Gennusa has sung Pamina in “Die Zauberflöte”, Despina in “Cosi fan tutte” and Zerlina in “Don Giovanni”, her opera repertory includes Serpina (La serva padrona), Adina (Elisir d’amore), Rita, Susanna and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Magda (La Rondine), Mimi and Musetta (La boheme), Giulietta (Capuleti e Montecchi), Medora (Il Corsaro), Gilda (Rigoletto), Oscar (Un ballo in maschera). She further performs in concerts, including Mozart’s “Requiem”, Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater”, Rossini’s “Petite Messe Solennelle”, and Verdi’s “Messa da requiem”.
